New Year Resolutions

Happy 2015! A brand new year means one thing; a new start. Here’s to a year for moving forward, letting go, and to being happy! And with a new year also comes new year resolutions! I’m sharing my top three personal resolutions for 2015:


1. To find my zen

I really would love to find some peace and tranquility in my life in 2015. I started reading Zen and the Art of Happiness by Chris Prentiss and it is such a game changer. It’s time to channel some positive energy from the universe for the new year!

2. To live a healthier life
I was really lacking in the healthy department towards the end of 2014. I have definitely slacked off on going to the gym and running and eating the right foods. My hope for 2015 is that I will drink more water, get back to running, and be a little more mindful of what I eat.

3. To learn French.
Since I am studying abroad this summer in Paris, I really need to brush up on my French! I took three years during high school but I am way out of practice.

4. To live a happier life
One major thing I finally learned in 2014 is that people are not medicine. Also that you can’t search for happiness from other people; it has to come from yourself. I really want to experience new things like traveling, cooking, and even trying yoga. Who knows what will happen? The possibilities are endless and they sure don’t call it a new year for nothing.
