I’ve said it probably hundreds of time; I’ve wanted to visit the Palace of Versailles my whole life! And finally getting to see it was the best thing ever. It was huge, beautiful, and extravagant just like I had imagined.
The Hall of Mirrors:
Marie Antoinette’s Bedroom:
The garden was huge, it’s literally 1, 976 acres! So it’s no surprise we probably only saw about 10% of it. When I go back to Versailles someday I know I will want to spend an entire day there!
We went boating on the lake! I chose to wear the snazzy orange lifejacket; I can’t swim! Better safe than sorry I always say.
Emily was our brave captain of the little boat!
The Petite Trianon, Marie Antoinette’s domain:
Waiting for my prince like..
The little village was unreal, we literally felt like we were in the middle of a Disney movie!
Lovely blue heron flew in just as we were admiring the lake.
There were hundreds of fish all at the top of the water! They are definitely used to people constantly feeding them.
Having a Disney princess moment.
The farm had chickens, geese, donkeys, sheep, and even bunnies!
