Red for Valentine’s Day

I’m not one for big girly Valentine’s Day looks, but I do know how to be festive without losing your personal style. So why not take the traditional bold red dress look, and remix it into a bold knit sweater? My Valentine’s Day plans will probably include drinking hot cocoa while reading a good book, but if I was doing something like going to the movies or a chill dinner, this is what I would probably wear! I love the different red tones in this sweater, and I let it be the main focus point of my outfit. You can never go wrong with a chic black hat, and I accessorized with a vintage gold watch and dainty gold rings. The look is completed with black peep-toe heels that I purchased back in Paris forever ago. This outfit goes to show that you don’t need to be drenched in pink or lace for a Valentine’s Day look! You too can wear red for Valentine’s Day.
