Rent the Runway Saved My Closet

Kendall and Kylie Red Ruffle Crop Top | American Eagle Jeggings (similar) | ALDO boots (similar)
This week I am totally feeling the bright red trend that is so popular for this upcoming season. The weather here in NYC is still pretty hot and humid, which makes this cutout crop top perfect for a night out paired with denim and boots.

Rent the Runway
has given me the best gift a blogger could ever ask for – an endless closet full of endless options. Being a part of the fashion industry means that there are countless trends constantly coming and going so fast, and after a while you get trend whiplash and your bank account is empty and crying.

One of the main problems I always had in college and even recently with moving to NYC was having enough room for all of my clothes. Rent the Runway has given me the opportunity to simply borrow trendy pieces and wear them and then return and pick out something else. This keeps my closet (and my blog!) fresh and on-trend. With Rent the Runway Unlimited you get 3 items of your choice (that’s clothes, bags, or jewelry!) at a time and then you wear them for as long as you want, return them, then pick 3 more items! You also can then buy that gorgeous dress or necklace at a discounted price! And you never have to dry clean anything or add to that pile of dirty clothes that you have sitting on that chair in your room.

Plus, did I mention that all of their pieces are designer? Your Proenza Schouler and Diane von Furstenberg dreams can now come true!

Also it’s confession time: I actually didn’t finish this book – it reminded my a little of The Hating Game by Sally Thorne (one of my all-time favorites!) but it wasn’t as good so I gave up. Which is okay, free time to read is precious so we all should be spending that time reading books that we actually enjoy! Maybe I’ll get back to this book one day but for now – at least the cover looked cute with my outfit!
