Spring Break Essentials

Spring Break Essentials

I am officially ready for spring break. I’ll be turning 21 in less than two weeks and then I’ll be jetting off for the perfect birthday vacation (stay tuned to my Snapchat @tracie.mariep to see where I’m headed!). That being said, I’m starting to look at what to pack! From sunglasses to swimsuits to sandals, there’s a lot to remember to bring. But the most important thing to remember is your skincare! Hot temperatures and dry air makes for some unhappy skin that can put a damper on your vacation vibes. Here are some of my spring break essentials for skin care:

vacation-skin-care

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen– Sunscreen is key! Don’t leave your hotel without it. Sunscreen prevents aging and wrinkles, and protects our sensitive skin from harmful UV rays.

Klorane Dry Shampoo– Get the travel size! I have become addicted to this dry shampoo ever since my summer in Paris. It absolutely the best! No one likes greasy dirty hair, so just spray a little on your roots and rub in and your hair will look fresh and clean!

Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer– I use this moisturizer every day, so you can bet that I will be bringing it with me while I travel. It even has SPF 30 in it, for some extra skin protection.

Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream – This has been my go-to hand cream all winter long, so of course I’ll continue using it through warmer weather too.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir– Spray as a primer before applying your moisturizer and makeup. You can also use this to freshen up throughout the day, or after you get off the long flight. The light mint smell is a nice touch that wakes up your entire face. It also comes in the perfect travel size.

Now that your skin is guaranteed to be bright and glowy throughout your spring break, here are some of my other essentials.

Sunglasses: I always buy mine from Forever 21, just in case they get lost or broken! Round sunglasses are my current fave but I also love these retro cat-eye frames.

Swimsuits: I bought this black one piece from Asos last year, and it’s absolutely one of my favorites. This Topshop halter swimsuit is another great option.

Bag: This Zara fringe backpack will be constantly with me while I’m on vacation. It’s the perfect size but it won’t be too bulky. It’s not only functional, but fashionable as well.

What are your spring break essentials?
