Now you guys know me, when it comes to accessories I tend to stick with minimal classic pieces. If I am going to wear a statement accessory, it’s going to be on my feet. Enter my newest shoe obsession; tassel sandals. I originally found this pair from Asos after the Zoe Report featured them. I love how simple they are and how they add a pop of fun summer color to my look. I will definitely be taking them with me this summer while I’m living in New York City.
Today I’m featuring a very special pair of heels from Traffic Shoe! This online shop is known for its “buy one get one for $1” shoe deals (yup you read that right, get a pair of shoes for $1!). I’m so obsessed with these burgundy fringe heels! They are literally everything I could ever want in a shoe…pointed toe? Check. Fringe? Check. Trendy burgundy? Check!
This outfit is very Rachel Zoe inspired. When I think of Rachel Zoe I think of billowy fabrics, flares, and heels; and this outfit has it all.
Happy Thanksgiving! This outfit is perfect to wear after stuffing your face with turkey and pumpkin pie all day. A cozy open-front poncho feels like you’re walking around wearing a blanket but the pointed toe fringe boots still make you feel put together.
Today I am thankful for my blog. My blog’s first anniversary is coming up this weekend and I am so lucky to have been able to share my sense of style and outlook on the world with my friends, family, and readers.
Forever 21 open poncho (similar) | Dolce Vita Okana over the knee boots
I loved my over-the-knee boots I got last year from Chinese Laundry, so I knew I wanted a more neutral tan suede pair for this season. These boots are very versatile, so I’m sure you’ll be seeing a lot of them in my outfits here on Tracie Marie Please. Today, I’m wearing them with a simple white t-shirt, skinny jeans, and a cozy plaid open poncho from Forever 21. This is a super easy “no thinking required” outfit option for fall.
I love the way this skirt looks with over the knee boots. It’s a “70’s meets Pocahontas” kind of feel! My inspiration for this look came when I saw blogger Peace Love Shea rocking a similar outfit on her Instagram. I’m all about transitioning summer pieces into fall and winter, and this skirt (which I purchased this summer and wore in this post) is a tricky piece to try and transition.
Forever 21 faux shearling moto vest | Forever 21 long sleeve dress (similar) | Target fringe boots (similar)
Relaxed cool girl style is effortless and easy in this faux shearling vest and basic grey dress. I’ve never been a big vest person, but I have been so in love with this faux shearling one I would honestly wear it every day if I could. Shearling has come back in full force for this season, with vests and coats popping up on the runway and in every blogger’s closet. It’s so cozy and so very 1970’s.
